The Cisco Catalyst 3750 family of switches are designed for mid-sized enterprises and large branch offices. They are characterized by ease of use and the highest resiliency of a stackable switch. The increased efficiency of the local area network when using stacking is achieved using Cisco StackWise technology.
The innovative Cisco StackWise technology increases resiliency, simplifies operations, and improves the efficiency of stackable switches. Cisco StackWise technology allows up to 9 Cisco Catalyst 3750 series switches to be combined into a single 32 Gbps switch box.
The Catalyst 3750 family switches are available in the following basic hardware configurations:
- Cisco Catalyst 3750G-24TS - 24 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports and 4 SFP slots; - Cisco Catalyst 3750G-24T - 24 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports; - Cisco Catalyst 3750G-12S - 12 SFP slots; - Cisco Catalyst 3750-48TS - 48 Ethernet 10/100 ports and 4 SFP slots; - Cisco Catalyst 3750-24TS - 24 Ethernet 10/100 ports and 2 SF Cisco Catalyst WS-C3750G-24PS-S Cisco Switch P slots; - Cisco Catalyst 3750-48PS - 48 Ethernet 10/100 ports with PoE and 4 SFP slots; - Cisco Catalyst 3750-24PS - 24 Ethernet 10/100 ports with PoE and 2 SFP slots; - Cisco Catalyst 3750-24FS - 24 100BASE-FX Ethernet ports and 2 SFP slots; - Cisco Catalyst 3750G-16TD - 16 ports Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 and 1 port 10 Gigabit Ethernet XENPAK; - Cisco Catalyst 3750G-24TS-1U - 24 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports and 4 SFP slots, height - 1 RU; - Cisco Catalyst 3750G-24PS - 24 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports with PoE and 4 SFP slots; - Cisco Catalyst 3750G-48TS - 48 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports and 4 SFP slots; - Cisco Catalyst 3750G-48PS - 48 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports PoE and 4 SFP slots; - Cisco Catalyst 3750G-24WS - 24 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports with PoE and 2 SFP slots; Integrated Wireless LAN controller, up to 50 APs per switch and up to 200 per stack; All family configurations support the Cisco Redundant Power System 675 external power supply.
Key benefits of the Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series Switch Family Models:
1) the ability to combine up to 9 switches in a stack, which allows you to get up to 468 ports of 10/100 Mbps or 10/100/1000 Mbps, or 9 ports at 10 Gbps. When a new switch is added to the stack, the command switch automatically downloads the current software version and configuration to the new switch; 2) the presence of an integrated Wireless LAN controller; 3) high reliability. Fault tolerance and redundancy according to the 1: n scheme. Stacked switches are interpreted as a single node when detecting and eliminating logical loops in networks (STP); 4) improved broadcast control (multicast); 5) improved support for functions to ensure the required level of quality of service (QoS); 6) support for IPv6 ; 7) Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology allows simultaneous transmission of data over twisted pair and power supply of end devices, such as IP phones or Cisco Aironet wireless access points; 8) High-speed traffic routing: thanks to high-speed switching technology Cisco Express Forwarding (CEF) the Catalyst 3750 series of switches provide high-performance routing of IP traffic. SMI software supports static routing, dynamic routing via RIPv1 and RIPv2, and EMI software additionally supports routing protocols OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, and multicast traffic routing (PIM, DVMRP, IGMP
snooping); 9) bandwidth optimization using: efficient means to ensure QoS, Egress committed rate (ECR), support for 4 outgoing queues per port, SRR scheduling, Weighted tail drop (WTD), traffic prioritization, guaranteed speed in steps of up to 1 Mbps; 10) control of asynchronous data flows using an inbound control mechanism and a traffic limiting mechanism; 11) in models with ports for SFP, the following interface types are supported: 1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-BX, 1000BASE-LX / LH, 1000BASE-ZX , CWDM-SFP, 100BASE-FX, 100BASE-LX10, and 100BASE-BX SFP; 12) support for Cisco Redundant Power System 675; 13) advanced security features; 14) network security using a wide range of authentication methods, data encryption technologies, and network management by user, device port and its MAC address; 15) support for automatic configuration of switch ports for the appropriate cable type (Auto-MDIX); 16) using a dynamic reflectometer (TDR) to diagnose and identify problems with SCS on copper ports; 17) create access control lists (ACL) by ports for second network layer interfaces, filter devices by MAC addresses; 18) encryption using the SSHv2 prot
